The Brand Lead will be a key player in shaping the success of our innovative products and services. You’ll collaborate closely with our global upstream marketing team to ensure US customer needs are at the forefront of our product development. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, identify emerging market trends, and drive the adoption of our groundbreaking products. Key Accountabilities
- Strategic Planning & Development:
- Develop US commercial launch strategies and plans, including key messaging, positioning, market segmentation, pricing strategy, distribution strategy, and promotion strategy.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive successful product launches and adoption.
- Marketing Execution:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives and product positioning.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Work closely with sales and customer-facing teams to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives and sales enablement.
- Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly to maximize ROI.
- Market & Customer Knowledge:
- Product knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Telix products being marketed, including their uses, benefits, side effects, and contraindications.
- Healthcare industry knowledge: An understanding of the healthcare industry, including healthcare providers, regulatory bodies, and healthcare delivery systems as it relates to the products and services we market.
- Customer requirements: The ability to understand the needs, preferences, and behaviors of our targeted providers and patients.
- Marketing Expertise:
- Marketing strategy: The ability to develop marketing plans that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Multi-channel marketing: The ability to use a range of marketing channels, including digital marketing, social media, and traditional advertising, to reach our targeted providers and patients.
- Data & Analysis:
- Data analysis: The ability to analyze marketing data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
- Compliance & Regulations:
- Compliance: A thorough understanding of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical marketing, including FDA regulations and industry codes of conduct.
- Leadership & Teamwork:
- Team management: The ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, including sales and customer-facing teams, creative teams, and external vendors.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Communication skills: The ability to communicate complex scientific information to healthcare providers and patients in a clear and concise manner.
- Business Acumen:
- Business acumen: A strong understanding of business principles, including financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, and the ability to apply these principles to marketing strategy.
- Forecasting:
- Develop and execute data-driven forecasts: Proven ability to create accurate and actionable forecasts by analyzing market trends, competitive intelligence, and historical data to predict product performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Drive data-informed decision-making: Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve revenue and market share goals.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in upstream marketing strategy required; Experience in the nuclear medicine and radiopharmacy space strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in developing successful marketing campaigns and driving growth in the healthcare industry.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with sales teams to drive revenue growth.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
