Business Development Associate- Financial Services Sales

Job Type: Full-Time/ Exempt
Pay Scale: This is a performance-based environment where results and accountability are valued and rewarded. We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year, plus a generous bonus structure tied to individual and team performance. Average OTE ranges from $125,000.00-250,000.00+.
Position Location: This is a remote digital office (work from home), and employees must be U.S. based. We maintain a strong, collaborative culture through regular virtual engagement, shared tools, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. The role requires working from a dedicated home office. Public workspaces are not acceptable. Team members are expected to be camera-ready, responsive, and highly communicative during the workday. Some flexibility in work hours may be required to accommodate collaboration with team members or clients across different time zones.
Travel: Minimal travel may be required for conference attendance, trainings, and company events.

Position Summary:
We are seeking high-performing, client-focused professionals with strong business acumen and a passion for navigating the deal process from first conversations to close. In this role, you will build trusted relationships with business owners, executives, and decision makers across a wide range of industries. You will play a critical role in identifying opportunities, shaping strategic conversations, and advancing partnerships.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct extensive B2b outbound calls to prospective clients, facilitating the M&A deal process.
- Qualify businesses and business owners to identify their divestiture posture, ownership structure, revenue, EBITDA, actionability, and growth strategy.
- Represent our clients’ investment interests to business owners across various industries.
- Apply proven business development acumen to serve clients and help expand the company’s footprint across existing and new markets.
- Utilize a consultative approach to understand client needs, uncover opportunities, and position solutions that add value.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution across departments.
- Produce timely and accurate KPIs and reports to track pipeline activity and client interactions.
- Conduct market research and stay current on industry trends and emerging opportunities.
- Minimal travel may be required for conference attendance or company events.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field. MBA a plus, but not required.
- 3-5 years minimum years experience in business development, consultative sales, or client-facing roles. Experience in wealth management, private banking, or a related financial services environment is a strong plus.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Understanding of corporate financial analysis and financial statements.
- Adept at managing multiple projects and completing deliverables on schedule.
- Ability to work independently and interdependently within a team environment.
- Exhibit a positive and professional attitude on a daily basis with clients and team members.
- A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
