PeopleGrove Tech Private Limited is our growing India entity, supporting global product development, engineering, operations, and customer success. As we scale our India presence, we’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager with a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience to lead the operations, manage local compliance, and champion our team and culture in India.

As the Business Manager of PeopleGrove Tech Private Limited, you will serve as the senior leader for our India office, responsible for cross-functional team leadership, site operations, legal compliance, budgeting, and collaboration with global stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in driving PeopleGrove’s success by ensuring smooth local execution, operational excellence, and a strong, inclusive culture.

Requirements

  • Talent & Culture: Build and retain a high-performing, motivated team while fostering PeopleGrove’s values and culture in India.
  • Global Collaboration: Work closely with US-based leadership to align on strategic priorities and ensure seamless cross-border collaboration.
  • Legal & Compliance: Ensure that the India entity remains fully compliant with local laws and regulations. Coordinate with legal advisors and consultants on company registrations, contracts, and statutory filings.
  • Taxation & Financial Governance: Work with the company’s Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage taxation, filings, audits, and financial compliance.
  • Budget Planning: Lead the preparation of the annual India budget in coordination with global finance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and prudent financial planning.
  • HR Policies & Operations: Take accountability for local HR policies, employee relations, compensation compliance, and implementation of global people practices adapted to the local context.
  • Operational Excellence: Continuously improve internal processes across departments, helping scale the India operation effectively.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, general management, or similar senior roles, preferably in a multinational product tech company.
