About Fundraise Up
At Fundraise Up, we are reimagining the fundraising platform to create the most convenient and fastest way to donate to non-profit foundations. Our innovation is aimed at enhancing loading speeds, boosting conversion rates, offering diverse payment methods, and more. Each month, individuals worldwide donate tens of millions of dollars through our platform. We are the go-to fundraising solution for some of the world’s leading non-profit organizations. UNICEF, Obama Foundation, the Alzheimer’s Association, and many others leverage our platform for their online fundraising needs.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, strategic leader to shape and execute our Product & Engineering strategy. You will work closely with the CTO and VPs to co-create annual and quarterly OKRs, translating them into actionable roadmaps with clear success criteria.
This role involves managing multiple cross-functional programs, overseeing scope, timing, budget, and risk, and driving projects from start to finish. You will also build and maintain data-driven scorecards and dashboards to track product, engineering, and business metrics, surfacing insights and risks early.
Strong communication skills are essential as you’ll craft board decks, product updates, and presentations, and turn complex topics into clear narratives. You will align Product & Engineering with GTM, Finance, and People teams, running industry research and organizing off-sites as needed.
Fluency in both English and Russian (C1+) is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-create annual/quarterly OKRs with the CTO and VPs, translate them into actionable roadmaps and clear success criteria.
- Set agendas and facilitate weekly / quarterly sessions, capture decisions and follow-ups, and keep everyone on schedule.
- Build plans, manage scope, timing, budget and risk, and drive delivery end-to-end.
- Create and maintain scorecards and dashboards for product, engineering, and business metrics; surface insights and risks early.
- Craft board decks, product updates, and internal / external presentations for the company; turn complex topics into crisp narrative.
- Align Product & Engineering with GTM, Finance and People teams, run ad-hoc industry research, and organize off-sites or workshops when needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in software or program management and a minimum of 3 years in strategy, consulting, or executive operations.
- Deep understanding of the software-development lifecycle and modern engineering practices; comfortable talking code, architecture and product trade-offs.
- Expert in structuring problems, building plans, tracking OKRs and financial / product metrics.
- Outstanding written and spoken English & Russian (both C1+); able to influence without authority and build trust across cultures.
- Can zoom out to company-level direction and dive into details to unblock teams; thrives in ambiguity and acts proactively.
- Bias for action, ownership mentality, and an ability to create strong partnerships at every level of the organization.
- Proven operational expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging tech stacks and project management tools, with a strong ability to prioritize effectively and maintain operational rigor to ensure alignment with business goals.
Project Examples
- Organize a leadership offsite for November.
- Prepare deep-dive reviews for each product squad.
- Coach VPs ahead of those deep-dives.
- Drive the shift from sales-led to product-led roadmap, unblocking issues along the way.
- Partner with the VP and HR to launch OTE and win buy-in from the teams.
- Sync departments around GPV as the company’s North-Star metric.
- Interview directors to map where their time actually goes.
- Ensure the monthly Product update happens at the all-hands and that the published roadmap meets quality criteria.
- Pull ad-hoc data on engineering productivity or verify that hiring plans are on track.
Additional Information
- We offer a relocation program for those who wish to move — it covers Europe, Serbia, and Georgia.
- Our team works remotely, but we operate on a 9 AM to 6 PM CET schedule. During these hours, we actively collaborate via calls and discussions.
- The final compensation will depend on your experience, performance on the test task, technical interview results, and your country of residence.
Why Join Us
We’re building a strong team of passionate individuals. Everyone brings unique experience and is eager to share it.
There’s no complex hierarchy here — everyone is just a Zoom call away. Nearly all of our financial statistics are open internally, and we regularly share how the product, sales, and support work, where our clients and revenue come from, and what’s new and interesting across the company.
Perks
We want you to feel comfortable working remotely. We typically provide a MacBook and as many monitors as you need. If your workspace isn’t set up yet, we’ll send you a desk, an ergonomic chair, and anything else required for productive work.
We cover essential software, books, and coworking memberships if you prefer not to work from home. We also help with gym and swimming pool memberships, English classes, and any professional education relevant to your role.
Once a year, the whole team meets offline. In 2021, we rented a large villa in Cyprus; in 2022, we gathered at a hotel near Tbilisi; in 2023, we organized a week-long retreat for 60 people at a resort in Turkey. In 2025, we returned to Turkey and brought together 120 team members. It’s a great way to connect, talk outside of work, and just have a good time :)
