Forge Trust specializes in custody of alternative investments, including Private Funds, with 30 plus years of experience and $16B AUC. As a subsidiary of Forge Global, we are uniquely positioned to provide Custody solutions to Private Markets. We understand the industry and can help navigate the associated rules and regulations. With specific focus on Self-Directed IRAs, and providing solutions to financial institutions to create seamless, Private Fund Custody – we increase investor confidence while reducing operational overhead and risk by having funds custodied by us (a third-party). Forge Trust manages investor cash processing on behalf of funds and facilitates investments at the direction of clients, in addition to providing reporting on fund/investor activity.
The Role:
The client Onboarding Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding experience for new clients, including account setup, documentation, regulatory compliance, and the transfer of cash and assets into the firm. This role ensures a seamless, timely, and client-focused process that supports business growth, enhances client satisfaction, and maintains operational accuracy. The manager acts as a key liaison between internal teams and clients during the critical early stages of the client relationship. This role also oversees all client account maintenance activities.
Role will be remote in Denver, CO (You must be located in Denver area to be considered for the role)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of client onboarding, from welcome communication through account funding via transfer in, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee the accuracy of client contact information and proactively engage with clients when contact information has changed.
- Provide white-glove service, ensuring a high-touch and positive first impression of the firm.
- Continuously review onboarding and transfer processes for efficiency, compliance, and scalability.
- Maintain and update onboarding SOPs and documentation.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for quality, efficiency, and productivity
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Onboarding Team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) preferred
- 3+ years of leadership experience in client onboarding, financial operations, or account management, ideally within wealth management, retirement industry, or banking.
- Lead and motivate the department and others through increased operational efficiency and improved operational controls
- Strong verbal/written communication skills with a client-first mindset.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time while working
- Must be able to work remotely at a Denver, CO
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and understanding of IRAs rules and regulations is preferred
- Zendesk and Microsoft Office Experience preferred
For residents of Denver, CO the annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 + annual bonus. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors
