We’re looking for a Commercial Analyst with proven experience in the online gaming or gambling industry to join our team. In this role, you’ll use your analytical skills to streamline payment processes, uncover fraud patterns, and deliver insights that improve customer experience, drive operational efficiency, and protect revenue. What you’ll do:
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collaborate with the casino team to understand their business objectives, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and prioritize dashboard enhancements.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases and sources.
- Design, maintain, and improve interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Provide actionable insights and regular reporting on payment KPIs, user behavior, A/B testing results, and operational performance.
Fraud Detection & Prevention
- Analyse and visualize fraud-related trends, including but not limited to: Chargeback fraud, Multi-accounting, Bonus abuse, Identity theft, Money laundering…
- Identify emerging fraud patterns through behavioral data and flag anomalies in real time.
- Collaborate with fraud and risk teams to develop and implement proactive strategies to mitigate fraud risks.
- Provide data-backed recommendations to enhance fraud detection systems, rules, and operational procedures.
What you’ll need:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL is required.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Knowledge of Python is a plus.
Industry Experience:
- Previous experience in the online gaming or gambling industry, desired experience in payments or fraud analytics.
