What are we looking for?
Do you like working with cutting-edge technology and discussing it with people? If so, you might be interested in learning that there is a technical role that combines sales with consulting, known as a presales solutions engineer. As a Solutions Engineer, you will provide initial technical consulting for the most essential and strategic opportunities in the sales process. You must be a self-starter, passionate about solving problems and preventing cyber threats, and interested in working within the dynamic and evolving cybersecurity industry. We’d like to meet you if you are motivated and results-driven and enjoy working in a team environment.
What will you do?
The Solutions engineer plays a crucial role in the sales process by providing technical consulting and expertise during pre-sales discussions, product demonstrations, and customer meetings. This role will work closely with one of our commercial solution engineers and will have an opportunity to work directly with customers. Help the sales and solutions teams to understand customer needs and technical requirements and build out proposals for tailored solutions that address specific challenges or objectives.
- Develop and showcase an understanding of products and solutions, aligning technical solutions with customer needs and pain points.
- Help develop customer-facing materials for documenting value and problems we can solve for our customers.
- Support webinars and customer enablement sessions

What skills and knowledge should you bring?
- A basic understanding of technical aspects of cybersecurity, demonstrating interest in areas such as malware prevention, data loss prevention, network security, cloud security, identity security, forensics and incident response, Threat Hunting, and Security operations and intelligence
- Working towards a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date in 2026
- Have an interest in working with customers and the ability to demonstrate leadership skill
- Proven ability to learn new technology quickly, adapt to changing needs, and possess strong analytical skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms, deliver engaging presentations, and write clear and persuasive proposals and documentation
- Must be adept at managing their time efficiently, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- Be adaptable, resilient, and able to thrive in fast-paced and sometimes uncertain environments.
- Overall, successful Solutions Engineers possess a unique blend of technical expertise, communication skills, customer focus, and sales acumen, allowing them to bridge the gap between technical solutions and customer needs effectively.

Length of internship: 9-weeks (June 23-August 22, 2025)
Interns are expected to work full-time, 40 hours per week. The hourly rate for this role is $25/hr
This U.S. role has a base pay range that will vary based on the location of the candidate. For some
locations, a different pay range may apply. If so, this range will be provided to you during the recruiting

Base Salary Range
$25—$25 USD
