Job description

Position Summary:

The Concept Design Lead plays a crucial role in driving innovation within the Data Mining space, focusing on the development and deployment of new analytics to enhance the organization’s portfolio and improve annual savings. This position involves not only the creation of advanced analytics but also the automation of processes to reduce Selling, General, and Administrative (SG&A) costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Analytics Development:
    • Lead the creation and production of innovative analytics to support the Data Mining Team.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of new analytics to ensure they meet business objectives.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for new analytics that align with strategic goals.
  • Automation Initiatives:
    • Design and implement automated solutions to streamline processes and reduce costs.
    • Continuously seek out areas where automation can improve efficiency and effectiveness within the Data Mining operations.
    • Develop and refine tools and systems that facilitate automation.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Oversee and mentor a team of 5 concept design/automation researchers.
    • Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the team, encouraging the ideation of new Data Mining and automation concepts.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members in their professional development and project execution.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage all aspects of concept and automation development, including planning, execution, and delivery.
    • Track progress and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on project status and outcomes.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics and automation efforts with broader business objectives.
    • Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data mining and automation technologies.
    • Implement best practices and new methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of analytics and automation initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent work experience in Data Mining, Data Mining Analytic Development and Automation Development.
  • Experience: Proven experience in data analytics, automation development, and team leadership.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data mining tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
  • Experience with automation technologies and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

Remote Work Requirements

  • High speed internet (100 Mbps per person recommended) with secured WIFI.
  • A dedicated workspace with minimal interruptions to protect PHI and HIPAA information.
  • Must be able to sit and use a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.

Salary Range: $120,000- $130,000/ annually.
