Our client is a leading venture capital firm focused on technology, SaaS, and AI-first companies serving small and medium-sized businesses across Construction, eCommerce, Retail, Manufacturing, and Hospitality industries.
Position Type: Contract - 3 month contract to start
Hours: 10-15 hours/week
Rate: $65-75/hr

Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Content Writer to create compelling thought leadership content that resonates with SMB owners, founders, and executives. You’ll work directly with subject matter experts to produce high-quality white papers, blogs, articles, and other content pieces that establish the firm as an industry authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Interview subject matter experts to gather insights and technical knowledge
- Create thought leadership content including white papers, blog posts, and articles
- Research and ideate original content concepts targeting our core audience
- Develop content strategies that engage SMB owners, founders, and potential executives
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on content initiatives
- Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency across all content
Target Audience Expertise
You’ll be writing for:
- Small and medium business owners and founders
- Potential executives with SMB experience
- Industry leaders in Construction, eCommerce, Retail, Manufacturing, and Hospitality
- Investors and stakeholders in the SMB technology space
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional content writing experience
- Venture Capital experience in tech, SaaS, and AI-first spaces
- Deep understanding of SMB executives, owners, and investors
- Industry expertise in Construction, eCommerce, Retail, Manufacturing, or Hospitality sectors would be a great bonus
- Experience using Hubspot
- Technology writing background with focus on SaaS and AI-first solutions
- Strong interviewing and research skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible content
