We’re seeking creative editing support for a personal branding project that has the potential to grow into a full-fledged business. Our main focus is on delivering high-quality, aesthetic enhancements to photos and later, videos with an emphasis on cosmetic-style edits such as natural-looking improvements to hair, skin, and facial features. Think subtle, scar-free results that resemble professional cosmetic procedures. This work is a great fit for editors like us who specialize in refined, professional-grade visual enhancements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform detailed cosmetic edits on client-provided photos (e.g., enhancing skin, facial structure, hairstyles, and accessories like piercings or hats).
- Eventually support video editing tasks, once video content becomes available.
- Use editing tools to refine and retouch images to the client’s desired aesthetic, with attention to natural-looking results.
- Communicate with the client to understand vision and feedback.
- Collaborate via Zoom as needed for direction and updates (no need to stay on-call during entire shift).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in portrait/photo editing, especially facial enhancements.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating aesthetic editing skills (retouching, beauty/fashion style edits).
- Basic to intermediate video editing experience (for future tasks).
- Clear communication and ability to take client direction.
- Experience with cosmetic, beauty, or social media image editing is a plus.
- Reliable internet connection and availability for Zoom interviews and client check-ins.
APPLICATION SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGEABLE/REQUIRED:
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Suite strongly preferred.
- Open to editors who use equivalent professional-grade photo/video editing software.
- Access to licensed software is a plus but not required (client prefers editors who already have access to tools to avoid extra software costs).
