Role: Zuora CPQ Architect

Location: Remote. (Anywhere in US)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Zuora Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and high-performance subscription billing solutions using Zuora. As a key member of our technology team, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into end-to-end architecture and design solutions.

·Serve as the subject matter expert and technical lead for all things Zuora.

·Architect end-to-end subscription billing solutions on the Zuora platform, including CPQ, billing, payments, revenue recognition, and reporting.

·Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Zuora solutions.

·Design data integration solutions between Zuora and other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, etc.) using APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and custom connectors.

·Guide and mentor development teams during implementation and testing.

·Ensure best practices in Zuora configuration, customizations, and overall system architecture.

·Lead workshops, solution design reviews, and architecture governance sessions.

·Support ongoing operations, identify areas of improvement, and optimize system performance.

·Stay up-to-date with Zuora product releases and advise on relevant enhancements.

Responsibilities:

·8+ years of experience in IT with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Zuora architecture and implementation.

·Deep understanding of Zuora modules (Billing, CPQ, Revenue, Collect, Workflow, etc.).

·Strong experience with Zuora APIs and integrations with Salesforce, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, etc.

·Experience designing and implementing end-to-end subscription billing and revenue recognition solutions.

·Knowledge of data modeling, workflows, and reporting within Zuora.

·Solid understanding of subscription lifecycle and order-to-cash processes.

·Strong communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions and workshops.
