Job description

The Data Configuration Specialist is responsible for facilitating the development and ongoing maintenance of our Data Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) platform. This role focuses on mapping source and destination files, creating and managing configuration files, and offering first-level troubleshooting for data-related issues. Acting as a gatekeeper, the Data Configuration Specialist ensures that only critical issues are elevated to the engineering team, optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Data Mapping: Map all source to destination files to ensure precise data transformation and loading.

Configuration Management: Create, update, and manage configuration files essential for the ETL platform.

Ongoing Maintenance: Regularly adjust platform configurations to accommodate new data sources.

Initial Troubleshooting: Perform preliminary analysis and troubleshooting for potential data issues, escalating only those that require engineering intervention.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all configurations and mappings for auditing and future reference.

Communication: Collaborate with the engineering team to clarify requirements and ensure seamless escalation of issues.

Qualifications

Data Analysis Experience: At least 1 year (required)

Agile Process Knowledge: At least 1 year (required)

IDX Process Knowledge: Preferred but not required

Proactive: Demonstrates flexibility, swiftly anticipates and resolves problems, prioritizes tasks effectively, and selects the most suitable approach for optimal solutions.

Professionalism: Masters knowledge and expertise in the field, adheres to professional standards while working independently.

Excellent Command of English: Proficient in spoken and written English.

Proficient in Google Suite: Skilled in using Google Suite tools such as Sheets and Docs.

Must be willing to work from 9:00 PM to 4:00 AM, Monday to Friday PHT
