About the role:
We are looking for a Mid-Senior Designer with expertise in creating compelling visual content. If you have an interest in motion, this is a great addition! You will be responsible for generating ad concepts and designs for all paid and organic social adverts. Understanding of the gambling sector, its trends and its nuances will be helpful, but not a deal breaker if you are excited to learn about this exciting industry. You will be working across multiple design functions, where every day can present new possibilities. Your biggest priority will be to create design solutions to the highest level of output and consideration. There are no boundaries at Midnite; we are looking for candidates who challenge the status quo! We want you to take ownership from conceptualisation through to delivery, and liaise with our Art Director to understand how we can set the bar high for all of our content. You’ll produce compelling video assets for various channels, including web, email, social and many more. You’ll play an essential part in the development of all Midnite’s visual elements. You’ll maintain a coherent, consistent and dynamic design approach, considering 3D design, type, image and layout across all channels to elevate and communicate our brand identity.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-end process of digital advertising, from ad concept to creation, design, delivery and iteration, and regular asset success analysis (post metrics, campaign metrics).
- Consistently improving the performance of content and design in social and digital display advertising.
- Identify enhancement opportunities for test ideas at any stage of the creative process, through iterations and improvements.
- Working with other designers, creatives and Art Directors to achieve assets to support and improve designs and messaging.
- Staying ahead of the curve with design on digital platforms and best practices, with the latest content and design trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Articulating and presenting designs to your seniors.
- Establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices and standards.
- Consistently meet creative schedules and online marketing requirements.
- Ability to read and understand media plans, with a knowledge of formats and best practices by channel.
Skills:
- Substantial experience designing ad campaigns for paid and organic social media.
- Experience working in an agency or brand side.
- Experience creating cutting-edge, modern and innovative designs which work effectively for digital advertising outputs
- Knowing how to concept and test creative in a performance marketing environment and the associated channels
- An impressive portfolio packed with super strong layout, typography, imagery, motion & animation
- Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite for design and animation, and Figma, Jitter.
- Working to tight deadlines with accuracy and speed, whilst being forward-thinking and innovative
- Strong storytelling skills and the ability to translate ideas into visual narratives.
- Proficiency in animation principles, timing, and compositing.
- Creativity and attention to detail in crafting visually stunning motion content.
- Time-management skills to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong design background and awareness of current trends in both motion and design.
- Knowledgeable on the fundamentals of great storytelling and how to apply them to both film and motion briefs, and be comfortable expressing your ideas through storyboards and/or treatments.
