BACKBONE Athens is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Digital Project Manager to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge web projects, mobile applications, and bespoke web solutions for our diverse Greek and international client base.
This position requires a blend of account management skills, ensuring client satisfaction, and project management expertise, managing project lifecycles to deliver high-quality solutions within budget and timelines. The role involves collaborating closely with the client services team, technical, creative, and digital marketing teams to manage client communication, gather requirements, and coordinate project deliverables.
You will collaborate closely with our business development team as well as production (creative and technical) to deliver optimal solutions for our clients. Your role will encompass a comprehensive understanding of web solutions, from project requirements analysis and quoting to technical implementation management. Your primary focus will be on project management and effective client communication throughout all stages of digital projects.
Utilizing industry-standard project management platforms, your prior experience in agency-based digital project management is crucial, coupled with a deep understanding of project lifecycles and reporting processes. Strong communication and organizational skills, combined with analytical thinking, are prerequisites for this role. Reporting directly to the Digital Services Director, you will play a key role in driving the success of our digital projects.

Proficient in English (written and oral)
3-5 years of experience in a Digital Agency
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Coordinate the full life-cycle of a project though all the stages of Discovery, UX, design, development, testing and delivery of the final product
Experience with Project Management platforms (like Zoho Projects / MS Projects / Asana / Wrike etc.)
Engage in client meetings, guiding them through project steps, presenting plans and deliverables, explaining processes, and maintaining detailed meeting minutes
Efficiently communicate with clients and third-party vendors, using various channels to increase client satisfaction and establish trust relationships
Understand business needs across diverse sectors and provide consultancy on clients’ digital transformation journey
Possess a deep understanding of web development processes, including strategy, design, development, and related technologies
Strong technical knowledge to effectively communicate with both the technical team and clients, anticipating and resolving potential technical issues
Manage project requirement changes and address technical difficulties through intuitive solutions
Thorough understanding of the company’s products and services
Develop project time plans, considering client needs, third-party capabilities, technical requirements, and involved systems
Lead the production process of solutions by inspiring and motivating IT, UX, Design, Development, and Digital Marketing teams
Work to resolve functionality issues by coordinating testing processes with the production team
Supervise the project team, assigning tasks and allocating resources efficiently to meet deadlines
Deliver projects within the specified client budget
Generate comprehensive project status reports for stakeholders
Spanish language skills (optional)
