SUMMARY: The Director, Data Solutions is responsible for leading the data team as they develop and execute on the big data solutions roadmap for each business initiative they oversee; collaborating with other senior leaders and executives across the organization to understand the challenges and needs of the business; identifying the right solutions, align the right resources and overseeing the development of a wide range of data solutions to tackle these problems.
- Lead technical architecture, design and implementation of data products to meet the analytics needs of all stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Lead the engineering team to deliver on the data strategy that offers products that are market leading and thoughtful
- Develop and continuously improve usability and test criteria to guide product acceptance
- Identify and manage potential integration partnerships with external applications.
- Aligns with senior leadership to manage the data strategy roadmap to satisfy the company’s most important initiatives.
- Take initiative in tracking, anticipating, and proposing likely data industry trends for the organization to stay ahead of customer needs and requirements
- Facilitate communications throughout the product development lifecycle to all teams
- Initiate and lead interactions among other teams within AssistRx to ensure coordination of development, marketing, and support activities for our products
- Lead the client implementation process including data feeds, document processes, and communicating vendor capabilities to sales, marketing, and others as needed
- Leads several teams to develop best in class high performing, easy-to-use self-service BI solutions.
- Leads several concurrent initiatives to help solve complex business challenges we face every day.
- Develops a strategic working relationship with cross-functional leaders to align these data solutions to their KPI’s, levers, and business goals.
- Creates the organizational design to optimally serve multiple stakeholder groups and business objectives.
- Builds, leads, and mentors a team of highly talented data professionals.
- Prioritizes resources and hiring across multiple areas by balancing short-term needs with longer-term initiatives.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
o 5-10 years scripting experience with Python, Java, Scala, C++.
- o 5-10 years’ experience with big data solutions on major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
- o 5-10 years’ experience with structured and unstructured data.
- o 5-10 years’ experience with API development and management
- o Experience with Snowflake and ETL solutions
