The Role

We’re looking for a dynamic, resourceful, and self-starting Director of Marketing to grow our SLED funnel. This role isperfect for someone who loves this vertical, enjoys a strong partnership with sales, and can balance strategy with execution. You’ll be responsible for driving brand awareness, pipeline growth, and customer engagement across a key market segment.

📍 This is a remote position open to candidates based in the United States

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Develop a verticalized marketing strategy aligned with global objectives, ensuring effective brand positioning and lead generation.
  • Take ownership of the full funnel, creating, resourcing, and executing campaigns, including digital campaigns, events, webinars, and ABM.
  • Leverage a partner ecosystem to amplify marketing efforts and reach more prospects.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer account and SDR teams to ensure marketing efforts drive high-quality leads and pipeline growth, in support of delivering customer acquisition, expansion and retention goals.
  • Integrate customer and market insights into the development of creative strategies and marketing programs.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, optimizing campaigns for continuous improvement and to ensure that the ROI on marketing spend is maximized.
  • Establish and agree operating budgets by working closely with the leadership team and implement effective controls to maintain marketing expenditures within budget.
  • Work with product marketing and development to ensure segment input into the product development pipeline and future roadmap.
  • Keep abreast of services, products, applications, market conditions, competitive activities and industry trends.
  • Represent the company at major events, analyst and partner meetings, and any other relevant business and sales and marketing activities.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years of technology marketing experience in SLED or a related sub-vertical
  • Knowledge of the broader SLED market landscape, norms, nuances, and best practices.
  • Experience marketing to both IT and Communications personas, and supporting a multithreaded buyer journey.
  • Proven ability to build and directly execute marketing campaigns with measurable results.
  • A strategic thinker who enjoys being hands-on, in the thick of it
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales and customer success counterparts.
  • A creative, proactive and dynamic self-starter and builder.
  • A resourceful approach, ensuring that marketing resources are being utilized in order to maximize productivity and goal attainment.
  • Commercial data-driven mindset with experience using marketing automation. Experience with Marketo, Salesforce, Looker and 6Sense a plus.
  • Ambitious and motivated by growth. Driven to succeed – attaining and exceeding goals and KPIs.
  • Able to communicate effectively and create strong relationships with people, regardless of their role - adapting communications to audience needs.

The base salary range for this role is 185,000-200,000 USD

This position also offers a performance bonus dependent on company performance. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
