Director, Strategic Accounts – (West Coast Hours)

We’re hiring a Director, Strategic Accounts to support one of our most important enterprise clients full-time. This role is dynamic and high-touch, requiring deep relationship management, leadership of a dedicated internal team, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, client-first environment.
This is a fully remote role that requires West Coast hours and monthly travel to the client site.
What You’ll Do:
Be the Strategic Driver: Serve as the senior point of contact for the client, establishing trusted relationships with stakeholders and ensuring alignment across initiatives. Build meaningful connections throughout the client organization—expanding relationships in both breadth and depth to position Cro Metrics as a trusted advisor.
Lead a Dedicated Team: Manage a full-time cross-functional team focused solely on this enterprise account. Provide structure, feedback, and guidance across disciplines. Nurture, train, and grow a high-performing team aligned to client goals and outcomes.
Drive Outstanding Delivery: Ensure exceptional client service and delivery across all workstreams. Set the tone for excellence, responsiveness, and proactive communication.
Review & Approve Critical Deliverables: Ensure all materials—roadmaps, testing strategies, presentations, and procedural optimizations—meet quality and strategic standards ahead of deadlines.
Process Improvement: Drive efficiency and alignment by implementing standardized review checklists, enforcing version control protocols, establishing peer review loops, and integrating milestone-based checkpoints.
Navigate Change with Agility: Priorities and timelines shift often. You’ll lead with calm and clarity to keep both clients and internal teams moving forward.
Drive Account Growth: Identify, lead, and convert expansion opportunities to grow our impact with the client and contribute to Cro Metrics’ broader business success.
Craft Persuasive Narratives: Develop and deliver high-impact presentations that use creative storytelling and compelling narratives to showcase value, inspire action, and clearly outline next steps.
Be Responsive & Available: This account requires occasional after-hours availability and a high degree of responsiveness, reflecting the importance and visibility of the relationship.
Travel Monthly: Attend in-person meetings with the client each month to build trust, alignment, and momentum.
What You Bring to the Table:
Proven experience managing enterprise client relationships, with a strong understanding of client services and stakeholder dynamics
Experience leading remote, cross-functional teams
Strong presentation skills and executive presence
Ability to stay composed and organized in rapidly changing environments
Experience reviewing and improving technical or creative deliverables
Familiarity with A/B testing, data science, and growth strategy required
Comfortable working West Coast hours and traveling monthly
Travel Requirement: Required monthly travel to client site (expenses covered)
