Greenhouse is looking for a Director of IDEA & People Experienceto join our team!
Reporting into VP, People Success, this role is pivotal in shaping our culture, ensuring IDEA principles are embedded in all our practices, and enhancing the employee experience for our global, remote-first workforce. You will lead a dedicated team, drive cross-functional alignment on people-centric initiatives, and act as a trusted advisor to leadership. In this role, you will work closely with the entire People Leadership Team (PLTx), executive leadership (SLT and ELT), and partner with teams like Marketing to amplify our IDEA and PX efforts, both internally and externally.

What you’ll do
- Design and implement strategies to boost employee engagement, connection, and recognition for our global, remote-first team
- Develop and execute a company-wide strategy for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Allyship (IDEA), integrating these principles into all aspects of our culture and operations
- Serve as a trusted advisor and change management leader for IDEA and people experience priorities, influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Partner cross-functionally with executive leaders, ERGs, and People team functions to embed IDEA principles throughout the employee lifecycle
- Lead and develop a dedicated team, including hiring for a new People Experience role to support your vision
- Represent Greenhouse as an internal and external thought leader on IDEA and remote-first work, contributing to our brand and thought leadership
You should have
- Progressive leadership experience in People, DEI, Culture, or Employee Experience leadership roles in dynamic, innovative environments
- Demonstrated success managing, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
- Experience designing and operationalizing people and recognition strategies within a remote-first or global work environment
- Experience designing initiatives across the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to engagement and retention
- A strong command of using metrics and analytics to shape strategy and measure the impact of people programs
- Superb communication and influencing skills, with a proven ability to lead change and build trust in a fast-paced environment

The national pay range for this role is $169,000 - $254,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.
Greenhouse provides a variety of benefits to employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic life insurance, mental health resources, financial wellness benefits, and a fully paid parental leave program. For US-based employees, we offer short-term and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan and company match. U.S. based employees also receive, per calendar year, up to 14 scheduled paid holidays and up to 80 hours of paid sick leave. Non-exempt employees accrue up to 20-25 days of paid vacation time annually, depending on tenure, and exempt employees have flexible paid time off (PTO).
