Job description
As the Director, Product for our Clinical teams, you will need to discover, prioritize, and build the right data insights for new and existing, internal clinical products. You are strategic, data driven, detail obsessed and able to drive and execute a forward-looking product strategy; own our product processes, including roadmapping and sprint planning; align stakeholders across the organization on product strategy; drive rigorous product processes; and mentor and manage a team of talented PMs. The data and insights you bring will power our ability to learn, iterate, and grow. **Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual incentive plan and stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
What you get to do every day
- Lead product lifecycle, including optimization of existing features and ideation, validation and implementation of new features
- Develop and execute product strategies that align with Thirty Madison’s overall business objectives. This includes identifying new product opportunities, conducting market research, and analyzing customer needs and preferences
- Own the quarterly and annual product roadmapping process to achieve core business objectives (e.g, revenue attainment, patient engagement and customer retention) with a constant and relentless ability to prioritize and execute to deliver business impact
- Mentor and build a team of talented product managers; recommend and drive a resourcing plan to support current and future business needs
- Drive cross-functional alignment on clinical product priorities among Thirty Madison stakeholders (engineering, design, data, marketing, operations, clinical, and pharmacy)
- Build a strong culture of data-informed product iteration, in partnership with engineering, data, and design; ensure initiatives are well-structured, informed by data, and optimized and improved upon.
- Be willing to get into the weeds when needed (e.g, synthesize and prioritize user and business needs, pull data from SQL and build Looker dashboards, transform those needs into detailed product requirements, etc.)
- Bring improved rigor to product and design processes, including high-level roadmap planning, sprint planning, product discovery, user research, design review process, and documentation
- Construct data solutions that can scale over time, addressing data gaps across various products and teams
- Assist in discovering data insights to help identify future roadmap opportunities
- Contribute to making data a strategic advantage for our product teams and assist in formulating resilient team processes to drive this effort

What you bring to the role
- 8+ years of relevant and progressive product management experience, including 3+ years in a product leadership role
- Experience leading an agile product team across the full product lifecycle to launch products and features that are measurable Transform product and business objectives into actionable work
- Data-obsessed –– you care deeply about asking the right questions about customer facing products to make sure we’re collecting the right data points for each new product
- Experience using analytics tools including Looker, Snowflake, Google Analytics and SQL as well as the ability to draw actionable insights from data alongside extensive experience with A/B testing
- Hands‑on experience building healthcare products—comfortable with patient privacy, clinical workflows and regulatory nuance
- Knowledge of project management tools (Asana, JIRA, Shortcut, Monday)
- Demonstrated success establishing processes and structure that facilitates long-term growth
- Ability to clearly communicate the product vision to stakeholders, including senior leadership, employees and patients
- Passion for building better patient experiences in healthcare
Bonus points
- Working knowledge of ReactJS and Ruby on Rails.
- Solid understanding of relational database design and querying.
