Director, Product Management (New York, NY)
The Director, Product Management will lead the overall vision, strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for our Company’s ERPS payroll engine software solution. Will collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to understand their technical needs with regards to the functionality and performance of the ERPS payroll engine software solution and deliver solutions with engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
Specific duties will include:
· Establish effective product strategy and vision roadmaps for the Company’s ERPS payroll engine software solution based on existing performance and customers current technical needs;
· Scope and prioritize development, testing, and further development activities of the ERPS payroll engine software solution based on business and customer feedback and current operation;
· Work closely with software and systems engineering teams and advise on proper delivery, design, and development timeline and activities using optimal resources;
· Establish buy-in processes and information for product vision both internally and with key external stakeholders;
· Act as product evangelist and expert in building awareness and understanding;
· Provide appropriate reporting to the Executive Team and other Company teams regarding the product’s performance, operational issues, and technical development goals; and
· Implement design, development, and testing, practices, and reporting tools as needed to enable the Company to achieve expected KPIs.
· Will supervise two (2) Business Analysts.
· May telecommute 100% of the workweek from any U.S. location
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field plus five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience managing products throughout the software development lifecycle.
Experience must include each of the following, which may be gained concurrently:
· Two (2) years of experience performing software product and feature planning and prioritizing of technical backlogs using tools like Rally, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, and Sharepoint;
· Two (2) years of experience designing definition and solution evaluations for software applications to calculate and process large data sets, including Entertainment Payroll processing;
· Two (2) years of experience with project execution methodologies using Agile methods of software development including SCRUM and Kanban;
· Two (2) years of experience building process flow diagrams using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Business Process Modeling Language (BPML), using tools including Visio and Enterprise Architect; and
· Two (2) years of experience using scripting languages like SQL to gather, analyze, and hypothesize enterprise data for Business Intelligence to strategize Rules Engine Management.
