As a Document Controller & Data Analyst at Avicado, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations for our clients by managing documentation, reporting, and BIM-related tasks with precision. Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or technology is a plus but not required. This role requires residency in the greater Jacksonville area, with relocation assistance available.

Wh at you’ll do…
- BIM Document Control & Workflow Management:
- Manage and organize BIM-related documentation, including digital models, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure proper version control and document tracking to maintain accuracy and compliance across projects.
- Address and coordinate BIM issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Track and report Takt Time and Right First Time (RFT) metrics to improve process efficiency.
- Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and best practice guidelines for documentation management.
- Data Analysis & Production System Development:
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Access databases to support document control and data-driven decision-making.
- Use Excel VBA to automate workflows, streamline reporting, and enhance data processing capabilities.
- Utilize SQL to manage and analyze project data, ensuring integrity and optimized reporting.
- Analyze inspection findings, identifying quality concerns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support data-driven decision-making by leveraging insights from reporting and visualization tools.
You should have
- BIM Document Control Expertise: Strong experience managing, organizing, and maintaining digital models and project documents.
- Work Instruction & SOP Creation: Ability to develop and refine standard operating procedures to support project workflows.
- Data Analysis & Reporting Skills: Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel VBA, and SQL to structure and analyze data.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot documentation and data challenges.
- Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work with cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity in documentation and data processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or technology with a focus on document control.
- Familiarity with Procore, Autodesk BIM 360, or other construction technology tools.
- Exposure to ERP or financial reporting systems for integration with document management.
- Knowledge of database administration, business intelligence, or process improvement methodologies.
