This intern has the option to work in-person, in a hybrid capacity, or remotely.
We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Estate and Trust Department. Our Estate and Trust team works with clients in administration of estates and trusts, including analysis of related documents, preparation and review of tax returns, and fiduciary accounting.
As an Intern, you will work primarily with our Estate and Trust Team with some potential exposure to general Tax. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a high-demand area of tax. You will be given the support you need to develop a breadth of skills and experiences that will enable you to achieve your goals. Responsibilities
Various types of Fiduciary Income Tax returns
Gift Tax returns
Tax research projects
Special projects as assigned
Corporate (both S and C Corp) & Partnership Tax returns as needed
Working towards a bachelorβs or masterβs degree in accounting and/or 150 credit hours
Minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid track record of academic achievements
Completion of intermediate accounting course(s)
Completion of some Tax and/or Audit course(s) by time of internship
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Exemplary communication and organizational skills
Strong desire to learn and develop professionally
Motivated to serve clients

Internships are paid, full-time experiences which run January β April. We recruit well in advance of this time frame to allow youflexibility and time to make arrangements for housing and required classes.

The wage for this position is $28.00 per hour. This salary range reflects anticipated responsibilities and qualifications of a successful candidate for this role. Final compensation may vary depending on an individualβs experience, knowledge, and skills. You will receive an in-depth onboarding and training and supportive Boulay Buddy to help you acclimate to your role.
