About Boulay

We were founded in 1934 by Joseph A. Boulay. We provide assurance, accounting advisory, business consulting, employee benefits, ESOP, estate and trust, public company (SEC) services, risk advisory, tax, and transaction advisory. We also specialize in business valuation, mergers and acquisition, business succession, SOC 2, and technology risk advisory. Investment Advisory Services are offered through Boulay Financial Advisors, LLC, an SEC Registered Investment Advisor.

Headquartered in Minnesota, we work with clients in 35 states and globally as a member of PrimeGlobal, an international association of independent advisory and accounting firms. We have over 300 team members, including more than 100 Certified Public Accountants. We were recognized as the 6th largest firm in Minnesota by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal in 2025 and were listed as an IPA Top 100 Firm for 2024.
