About Us

Red Cell Partners is an incubation firm building and investing in rapidly scalable technology-led companies that are bringing revolutionary advancements to market in three distinct practice areas: healthcare, cyber, and national security. United by a shared sense of duty and deep belief in the power of innovation, Red Cell is developing powerful tools and solutions to address our Nation’s most pressing problems.

About Andesite:

After decades defending the nation’s most sensitive networks, we founded Andesite with a clear mission: to build security products that transform how humans and AI collaborate to defend against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.

We’re a diverse team of cyber and security experts, passionate technologists, and experienced product builders. We come from some of the largest national security, tech, cybersecurity, and data organizations on the planet.

We’ve raised more than $38 million from investors like General Catalyst and Red Cell Partners.

The future of cybersecurity isn’t about better technology alone—it’s about reimagining how humans and machines work together. Come build with us.

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Engineer to join our enterprise sales team to focus on our Government business. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving customer adoption by supporting the sales process with technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and hands-on experience in cybersecurity. You will work closely with sales, prospects, and existing customers to understand their technical requirements, demonstrate product capabilities, prove solution value, and ensure the seamless integration of our platform into customers’ environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise:

  • Collaborate with Sales Teams to demonstrate and deliver on our solutions value propositions
  • Identify customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their needs
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and technical workshops
  • Act as a technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, building trust and credibility with all stakeholders

Solution Design & Integration:

  • Analyze customer requirements to architect solutions that align with their security needs
  • Design, build, and troubleshoot integrations, leveraging APIs and scripting tools such as Python
  • Assist customers in implementing proof-of-value (POV) solutions and integrations

Sales Cycle Support:

  • Leverage CRM to manage leads, opportunities, POV (proof-of-value) engagements,  and customer interactions effectively
  • Collect and document success criteria and milestones as defined by our customers

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with product management and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence product development
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and competitive landscape

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of presales engineering experience in the Government cybersecurity space
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including but not limited to SIEMs, Data Lakes, Endpoint Detection & Response, Threat Intel Platforms, Security Orchestration Automation and Response, and cloud security solutions
  • Proficiency in Python for API integration
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, including opportunity management
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
  • Familiarity with Government programs and operations

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, CEH, or similar
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Active clearance
