We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Systems Manager to lead the strategy, development, governance and ongoing management of our NetSuite platform and other Finance applications. This role will be responsible for ensuring the effective deployment, customization, and maintenance of NetSuite & other finance applications across various financial processes including accounting, financial planning, cash & credit management etc.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of NetSuite, proven application support management capabilities, and excellent cross-functional leadership skills. This role will also lead a growing team by providing technical coaching and guidance and collaborate closely with cross-functional business stakeholders and departments. You’ll also stay updated on emerging AI technologies and trends in order to continuously improve the organization’s business systems architecture and align with StackAdapt’s business objectives. This role offers potential for growth into managing applications from other functions, such as HR and Legal.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide technical and architectural leadership for a suite of finance business applications, and drive continuous improvement aligned with business goals
- Manage a team of developers, analysts, and administrators supporting NetSuite and related systems
- Lead and deliver NetSuite projects including enhancements, upgrades, module rollouts, and integrations
- Design and architect end-to-end integrated finance solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders to understand business processes and translate requirements (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance, People) into a comprehensive applications footprint and strategy
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions that support key processes and deliver measurable value
- Ensure data integrity, governance, security, and compliance within the NetSuite environment
- Manage NetSuite integrations with third-party systems (e.g., Salesforce, Workato, SA Platform, etc.)
- Monitor system performance and user adoption, and provide proactive support and training
- Partner with vendors and consultants when needed for implementation, upgrades, or specialized support
- Lead the vision and strategy for incorporating AI/ML capabilities into finance workflows and decision-making systems
- Define technical evaluation criteria in the selection of new finance applications with technical due diligence, and process optimization efforts
- Provide best practice guidance and optimization opportunities for application design, development, and testing
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Proven experience (5+ years) managing NetSuite ERP in a business environment, including application governance and change management processes
- Strong understanding of NetSuite modules (Financials, Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, etc.)
- Experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and NetSuite integration tools
- Demonstrated experience managing finance business applications from planning through go-live including leading design, build, test, deployment & production support
- Experience with cloud-based integration platforms (like Workato, Zapier) and other finance applications (e.g., Zip, HighRadius, Stripe, Planful, Floqast)
- Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- NetSuite certification
- Familiarity with AI tools and knowledge of where and how AI fits into existing applications frameworks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to thrive and be nimble in a dynamic and fast-paced, fully-remote high-growth environment
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills
- Previous experience in high-tech industry is preferred
