Roush is seeking a Financial Systems Administrator to join its team! As Financial Systems Administrator, you will utilize experience in accounting, financial planning, and system administration to manage financial systems with the aim of continuously improving and streamlining financial processes. This will require management of requirement definition, design, configuration, testing, and maintenance of finance systems. Work will be both project-based (supporting leaders in assessing, designing, and implementing system solutions) and administrative (serving as the system administrator) to less formal ad-hoc needs. In this role, you will provide excellent customer support for end-users and other vested parties.

As the Financial Systems Administrator, you will:

  • Administrates the financial planning system, OneStream, and will maintain, setup, troubleshoot, upgrade, test, and train end-users and respond to ad hoc requests.
  • Serve as SME (subject matter expert) for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) General Ledger module (PeopleSoft) and maintain and manage all reporting (nVision) to support end-users.
  • Support the accounting and finance team through the actual, forecast, and budget consolidation processes and provide end-users with training and support to facilitate financial data mining for analysis, inquiries, and ad hoc reporting
  • Act as a liaison between business users and software developer and evaluate user needs and system capabilities with a focus on improving existing processes
  • Provide excellent customer support for end-users by investigating, correcting, and validation of errors and discrepancies and through development, deployment, and maintenance of financial reports as needed by end users
  • Maintain data integrity between the general ledger and the financial planning system (OneStream) and manage data security, archives, backups, and server maintenance, which will require coordination with the IT Department
  • Manage stakeholder expectations
  • Build knowledge of the end-to-end system to troubleshoot and solve problems using both analytical and creative techniques
  • Monitor systems performance, implementing optimizations and upgrades as needed.

Minimum requirements to be considered:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as system administrator for financial planning system(s), (e.g., OneStream, HFM, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Axiom, etc.)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as system administrator for OneStream financial planning system.
  • Knowledge of VB.Net and SQL lanuages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and find solutions as issues arise
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with an ability to work with a cross-functional staff and all levels of the organization
  • Excellent computer skills, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working with large amounts of data
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting concepts and processes and financial planning processes

Successful candidates may also have:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft or other ERP general ledger system
  • “OneStream Certified Professional (OCP)” or “Onestream Certified Associate in Adminstration”
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in a financial analysis role
