California Dental Association

We started in 1870 as a not-for-profit organization. We’re the largest state association of the American Dental Association (ADA), representing over 27,000 members. We support our members through advocacy, protection, education, and practice resources. We also advocate for better oral health for all Californians, partly through our non-profit, the CDA Foundation.

We provide resources and services for our members at every stage of their careers. These include continuing education, practice management help, legislative advocacy, and insurance services exclusively for dentists. We foster a community where dentists can learn, share, find inspiration, and grow professionally. Our family of companies includes CDA, The Dentists Insurance Company (TDIC), TDIC Insurance Solutions, Rotunda Partners, and the CDA Foundation.
