About the role
The Fraud & Payment Specialist is responsible for dealing with fraud risks arising from business activity, answering finance-related support tickets, chargebacks and PayPal disputes.
What you’ll be doing
- Analyzing fraud alerts raised by the system and applying required actions such as disabling fraudulent buyers and authors.
- Working with payment provider’s resolution centers to dispute claims where necessary.
- Advising users when fraud-triggering actions had been applied.
- Answering ad hoc finance, support and fraud-related tickets raised by users.
- Work collaboratively with support to improve processes related to finance.
- Replying to author’s/customer’s queries regarding payments.
- Sharing and collaborating with other team members as well as the wider Envato team members.
About you
- Online E-commerce experience.
- Experience working in a Fraud Analyst role.
- Previous experience with fraud-related tools: Falcon, Riskified, Kount, or similar.
- Understanding the chargeback system with banks.
- Nice to have: an understanding of SQL.
- Intermediate level of computer literacy and Excel knowledge.
- Excellent English and Spanish in both written and verbal communication.
