Role Overview :
At Jimdo, we’re helping solopreneurs thrive. Our UX Platform team plays a crucial role in that mission by empowering internal product teams with the tools, libraries, and design systems they need to ship high-quality features faster.
We’re looking for a frontend or full-stack engineer to help us elevate developer experience across the company. Whether you’re passionate about component libraries, love improving UI consistency, or want to grow in platform work, this is your chance to make a big impact.
Your impact:
Build accessible, reusable components for our internal design system.
Maintain shared frontend libraries and architectural frameworks.
Partner with designers and engineers to improve workflows and consistency.
Guide teams through migrations and onboarding to new tools.
Solve meaningful challenges at the intersection of design, architecture, and tooling.
Ability to work with a global team in a distributed work environment.
What you bring:
3+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack development.
JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS expertise.
Experience with React (or similar framework).
A passion for developer tools, design systems, and intuitive UIs.
Strong communication and a team-first mindset.
Commitment to building accessible and inclusive user experiences.
Bonus: Familiarity with Node.js, Kotlin, Vite, or Jest.
