Salary: R$2,930/month

This position will be employed through Lusk Creative Studio Solutions LTDA to work on Verdani assigned scope

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a part-time Mid-Level Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Communications team. This role is crucial in enhancing our corporate communications program and creating client-branded materials. The ideal candidate will possess reliable, technically adept, and efficient design production skills, as well as have strong conceptual abilities—capable of crafting brand-aligned, unique, and impactful designs. All designs produced must effectively convey both our clients’ messages and our corporate branding with clarity and professionalism.

Our Communications team includes a Chief Communications Officer with a professional design background, an Director of Design and an Art Director, as well senior- and mid-level graphic designers. As the part-time mid-level Designer, you will collaborate with all team members, reporting directly to both the Associate Director of Design and the Art Director, as well as accepting guidance from other designers, as applicable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary:

  • Design and Layout: Create and layout materials such as presentations and reports, charts and graphs, infographics, and other visuals, including photos and maps, for both internal and external use.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with design team members and key stakeholders to develop professional social media posts, signage, posters, flyers, and elevator/lobby screen images.

  • Visual Communication: Ensure that visual designs effectively communicate the desired message by collaborating with other practice areas.

  • Production Management: Manage and fulfill internal production needs, ensuring that both short-term and long-term deadlines are met.

  • Brand Adherence: Follow and maintain various brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all materials.

Secondary:

  •  Proofreading: Proofread your own work and that of others for grammar, typos, and writing style.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design quality and efficiency.

  • Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and improve design outputs.

  • Resource Management: Assist in managing design resources, including software, templates, and stock images.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of proven professional experience in graphic design and presentation design.

  • Portfolio: An online design portfolio showcasing a range of work.

  • Design Skills: Strong abilities in design, color palette selection, layout, and typography.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and editorial skills.

  • Self-Motivation: Ability to conceptualize, prioritize, and execute tasks with minimal direction.

  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across disciplines and in multiple geographic locations and time zones.

  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, including resource utilization and prioritization.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail.

  • Multi-tasking: Exceptional multi-tasking skills, self-motivation to complete projects, and ability to meet fast and tight deadlines.

  • Adaptability: Performance-oriented with a willingness to adapt to meet deadlines.

Preferred:

These are skills that the job requires but are not strictly required from day one and can be learned as the employee works.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as design, marketing, or communications.

  • Annual Report Design: Experience in designing and producing annual reports.

  • Presentation Design: Experience with PowerPoint presentation design.

  • Industry Experience: Experience working within the commercial real estate and sustainability industry.

  • Data Graphics: Ability to interpret complex data and translate into clear and inspiring graphical presentations.

  • Print Design: Experience designing for print.

  • Fluency with coding languages, such as HTML5 and JavaScript.

PLATFORMS & SOFTWARE

We welcome candidates with transferable tech skills! If you’re familiar with similar tools, we’ll support you in learning new systems!

Required:

  • Professional experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Professional experience with Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign

  • Professional experience with PC and Mac platforms

Preferred:

  • Professional experience with website or microsite programs or plug-ins, such as Squarespace and in5.

  • Professional experience with Adobe Express or video- and motion-graphics software.

  • Data visualization Tools: Experience with data visualization and GIS mapping tools such as Tableau and ArcGIS.
