Requirements
- Leadership experience together with individual competence
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a head of a data governance team or related field (data quality, cloud administrator)
- Experience using OpenMetaData or similar tools (Atlan, Alation) is a strong preference
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, information management, or similar
- Proficiency in programming languages, including Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python
- In-depth knowledge of statistical methods and tests
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Install & Troubleshoot: Install and configure data lake cloud providers, resolve system problems, and maintain network security
- Implement & Integrate: Monitor and analyze system capabilities, compare and implement new technologies, integrate systems into the computing environment, and document systems infrastructure
- Security & Strategies: Assist with cloud server configurations, patches, and troubleshooting, maintain system security strategies, policies, and procedures
- Quality & Reliability: Perform statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity, evaluate system performance and design, collaborate with database developers to improve data collection and storage processes
- Report & Document: Report data analysis findings to management, document processes, and maintain data policies
- Improve & Iterate: Adhere to best practices in data governance and quality, keep abreast of developments and trends
