  • Manage and expand our U.S. and Canadian sponsor bank partnerships
  • Manage and expand relationships with major card brands (Amex, Visa, Mastercard, Discover)
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operating and technology challenges with card brands, ensuring swift resolution.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including product, engineering, risk, underwriting, and compliance teams, to align on business needs and drive execution.
  • Represent Finix at industry events, fostering relationships with key decision-makers and staying ahead of market trends.
  • Develop, manage, and report on strategic plans, partner health, and key negotiation/expansion opportunities.

You Are:

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, corporate development, or related fields.
  • 8+ years of experience in payments or card networks.
  • Deep understanding of card network operations, business models, and industry trends.
  • Proven experience executing industry-wide partnership strategies and negotiating high-impact commercial deals.
  • Strong ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience leading teams or managing large, complex cross-functional projects.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience influencing policy changes with card brands (e.g., OptBlue rule adjustments for ISVs).
  • Prior involvement in securing government disbursement opportunities.
  • Proven track record in gaining early access to emerging card network technologies and programs.
