Founded in 2019, we are an open finance data and payments platform in Latin America. We help financial innovators access and use financial data, and initiate payments directly from user accounts.

Our services connect to financial data sources like banking, employment, and fiscal records. We turn this raw data into AI-powered insights, categorizing transactions, predicting income, identifying recurring expenses, and assessing risk. For payments, we support direct account-to-account transfers for things like checkouts, subscriptions, top-ups, and scheduled payments, including Pix in Brazil and Direct Debit in Mexico.

Our solutions help various industries optimize payments, manage top-ups, improve credit risk assessment and lending, boost checkout conversion, support personal finance management, automate accounting and ERP processes, and simplify onboarding and KYC.

We build on enterprise-grade infrastructure, comply with standards like ISO 27001, and hold regulatory licenses such as an ITP license in Brazil. We connect to over 140 financial institutions across Latin America. Belvo-powered apps have connected over 40 million accounts and processed over 1 billion enriched transactions. We have offices in Mexico City and São Paulo, and support remote work.

Pablo Viguera and Oriol Tintoré founded Belvo in 2019. They aimed to create common connections for users, businesses, and financial data and payments across Latin America.
