About the role:
This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as an International Operations Specialist, joining our International Operations team. What you’ll do:
- Provide critical project management to setup EOR operations in new countries; and to ensure continuity of EOR entities operations (license renewals, entity maintenance, corporate governance, etc.) liaising with external and internal stakeholders.
- Day-to-day management of expansion projects and entity maintenance tasks, deadlines and deliverables contributing to continuous progress, completion of milestones and providing regular, timely and detailed progress updates.
- As Specialist International Operations, you are expected to have a basic business sense and to align with your Manager to prioritize work based on common goals, potential revenue and risk assessment.
- Gather and refine requirements for the creation of Customer and Employee facing forms on the Remote platform.
- Work closely with legal team and local legal partners to implement Employment Agreements and other legal documents on the Remote and other contracts platforms.
- Continuous learning and development of operations setup in new countries and Entity Maintenance requirements through highly effective communication, documentation and process adherence.
- Multi-tasking across projects and jurisdictions guided by strategic goals and tactical priorities.
- Proactively identify process inefficiencies and inconsistencies and collaborating towards improved and more productive workflow.
- Be able to drive your own work, with Manager’s guidance, while still being able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external service providers.
- Be able to go from “scout to scale” and actually start things up.

Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role:
- Has experience in project management, entity set-up, international operations roles or global entities maintenance.
- Preferred Legal (corporate, employment) or paralegal background professionally or by way of education.
- Familiar with contracts, KYC process and legal documents execution.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills, as well as an excellent sense of time management.
- Flexible to navigate across a variety of topics and tasks.
- Productivity geek constantly looking for ways to improve speed up execution, quality and compliance.
- Highly collaborative and kind team player and being able to unblock challenges and finding solutions with the support of Manager.
- Strong skills in documentation, knowledge sharing, effective communication and asynchronous working.
- Familiar with tools such as Notion, Kissflow, Slack or similar.
- Writes and speaks fluent English. Proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
- Prior experience working remotely and asynchronously is considered a plus.
- Having familiarity with a remote, hyper-growth start-up culture is a plus.

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $30,950 to $87,050. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
At Remote, we foster internal mobility as a key element of our culture of employee growth and development, supported by a compensation philosophy that guarantees pay equity and fairness. Therefore, all compensation changes associated with an internal move will be reviewed by the Total Rewards & People Enablement team on a case by case basis.
