Job Description

Reporting to the Control Testing Manager, the IT Control Testing Analyst will perform control testing over data security and key resiliency risks across the Experian global business. They will work with the team of the Controls Testing Leads and the Data Analytics Team and will support them in risk assessment, planning activities, and the identification and development of data analytics strategies.

What you will be doing:

  • You will perform control testing over data and information security, and important resiliency risks
  • Develop testing plans applying of advanced analytics and manual activities and implement testing across multiple departments and regions, coordinating activities with senior partners,
  • You will collaborate with the Data Analytics team to identify opportunities for converting manual testing into assurance activity
  • Direct the Data Analytics team to improve models and visualization based on the results of testing and future plans
  • Support the Control Testing Manager in the maintenance of the risk universe to support the identification and prioritization of testing and reporting of results and coverage
  • You will help maintain the testing methodology by bringing new ideas to improve our testing performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, management information systems, engineering or other information technology related field
  • +3 years of experience implementing and testing controls, or risk management and/or compliance environments
  • Advanced english and portuguese language skills
  • Project management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Experience collaborating with teams to ensure policy consistency and local regulatory compliance
  • Experience proposing solutions
  • An approach that promotes collaboration and consultation.
  • Experience identifying important risks in access management and influence improvements in the control environment.Analytical experience identifyuing potential risks and develop solutions
  • Knowledge of risk assessment
  • Good Partner Management

This is a permanent home-based role in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
