Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Proposal Specialist to join our dynamic team at Cennox. In this role, you will support the proposal development process, assisting in the creation of high-quality proposal submissions that effectively communicate our solutions to prospective clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and formatting of proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and input necessary for proposal development
- Maintain and update proposal templates and content libraries
- Review and proofread proposals for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Support the sales team in achieving targets by providing administrative assistance.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales data in our CRM system
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
- 2+ years in sales administration or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint a must) and CRM software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree in business, communications, or a related field.
- Experience in B2B sales process.
- Sales proposal/presentation generation experience.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Soft Skills and Cultural Fit
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn
