As a Laravel Developer in the R&D team you will:

  • Build and maintain internal SEO tools that support team operations, ensuring functionality, reliability, and usability for our internal users.

  • Participate in the development of internal tools to optimize day-to-day tasks, automate and enhance the quality of SEO activities.

  • Collaborate with the Web Development team on client-focused projects as needed, contributing your expertise to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions.

  • Integrate external tools and APIs to our internal systems, creating seamless integrations that expand our capabilities and enhance workflow.

  • Troubleshoot technical SEO issues, identify deficiencies and bugs.

Requirements

Must have:

  • Excellent proficiency in HTML, CSS and of PHP and PHP Frameworks (at least 3 years of experience with Laravel).

  • Strong knowledge of Vue.js or a similar JavaScript-based front-end framework (React, Angular, etc.).

  • Hands-on experience with MySQL, including query optimization, database management, and data modeling.

  • Ability to work effectively within a Linux OS environment.

  • Ability to explore and evaluate new technologies and methodologies, demonstrating a proactive approach to implementing improvements.

  • Interest in designing tools that streamline workflows and enhance team productivity.

  • Expert knowledge within specific technical solutions related to front-end development.

  • Excellent communication and cooperative goal setting skills that will enhance your work with other company departments.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to articulately explain technical changes made to clients’ websites (to client managers, clients etc).

  • Command of the English language at a minimum B2 proficiency level.

Nice to have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computing, or Web Development.

  • One year of SEO experience (ideally in an agency).

  • Experience or good familiarity with SEO research tools including Ahrefs, Senuto, Sitebulb, Screaming Frog and SEMRush.

  • Good experience of Excel formulas and/or VBA useful in data analysis.

  • Practical understanding of Python programming language.

  2. Team Leader Interview - an interview with your prospective Team Leader, where we’ll discuss the position in detail, and you’ll undergo an assessment of your technical knowledge as well as demonstrate your approach to problem-solving and strategy.
  3. Recruitment Task - a quick test of your ability that will give us insight on how you operate and you’ll see a typical problem you might face in your day to day task.
  4. Feedback - we will return to you with the results of the recruitment process.
