Job description
Lead Developers act as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring that teams are successful in their delivery. In this role, you will bring a strategic mindset to projects and spend time collaborating and negotiating with clients to bring a technical vision to life. Having a balance of high-level and tactical mindsets is a must, as you will spend time both with clients and your teammates.

Lead Developers guide and coach their teams in their implementation and application.
Job responsibilities
- You will contribute code and tests according to criteria established by our product team
- You will work with product to break down and plan sprint work to help us achieve our long-term goals
- You will work write infrastructure-as-code template files (currently Cloudformation but moving to Terraform)
- You will monitor, troubleshoot and support our applications in production
- You will seek opportunities to improve the foundation of our code
- You will learn new skills in terms of software development, engineering practices and cloud engineering
Job qualifications
Technical Skills
- You are well-versed in two or more languages (Node.js and TypeScript.) and are comfortable with the latest Object-Oriented technology.
- You have more than 10 years of experience in the field of development.
- You have experience in APIs, AWS, Node.js/TypeScript, Docker and distributed systems/micro-services.
- You have experience with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, ELB and RDS.
- You have experience with micro-services and large-scale production;
- Advanced conversational English skill.

- You have experience influencing others and always advocate for technical excellence while being open to change when needed
- You bridge product and technology by helping to translate business needs to software requirements
- You have the ability to develop and execute a technical vision with a focus on business value
- You will act as a mentor for less experienced peers through both your technical knowledge and ability to inspire a team to deliver extraordinary impact together
- You’re resilient in ambiguous situations and can approach challenges from multiple perspectives
