What we’re looking for :

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Learner Engagement, InStride is looking for a Learner Engagement Manager to develop and drive our strategy for engaging employees within a distinct portfolio of corporate partners. This is a high-profile growth opportunity to partner with our implementation, design and product teams to help learners become aware of, engage with and participate in corporate partner education programs.

Skills we’d love to see you show off:

  • Strategic Planning : You excel at developing annual marketing and communication strategies for client programs, rooted in audience or industry insights, demonstrating the ability to pivot quickly in response to real-time changes.
  • Omni-Channel Expertise: You have a deep understanding of traditional and digital marketing channels and know how to effectively integrate them into seamless client engagement strategies.
  • Data Synthesis and Interpretation: You excel at translating campaign performance and funnel data into actionable strategies that drive learner engagement and client success, effectively communicating data-backed recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Client Relationship Management: You build trust with clients through confident communication, strategic rigor and effective presentations that are concise, data-driven and impactful. Your thoughtful cross-functional collaboration and ability to adapt your approach based on client needs earns their confidence to lead meetings independently.
  • Project Leadership: You juggle competing priorities with ease, leading complex projects and cross-CP initiatives with discernment and sound judgment. You take ownership of both strategic planning–but also execution when needed–ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Emotional Intelligence: You navigate team dynamics with empathy and open communication, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.

Who you are:

  • 7+ years marketing experience in a role developing multi-channel marketing strategies for a variety of clients, within a B2C capacity at minimum
  • You’re an effective communicator who excels in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, from marketing teams to senior client contacts (including C-level executives).
  • You’re adaptable and embrace change, pivoting strategies when necessary to meet evolving client and organizational needs while still being timely and on budget
  • You have a deep understanding of traditional and digital marketing channels and know how to effectively integrate them into seamless client engagement strategies
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment and are energized by the opportunity to craft and execute strategies that drive measurable impact.
  • You’re a natural problem-solver who uses data and critical thinking to make informed decisions.
  • You align with our mission to support learners and are motivated by seeing them succeed through your efforts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Excited by the challenge of building a world-class business that delivers not only high revenue growth and compelling return on investment, but also has a meaningful impact on society
  • High EQ, comfort with ambiguity and a “no job too small” startup mentality

How you will create impact:

  • Strategic Leadership: Own and develop annual multi-channel marketing strategies for a portfolio of corporate partners, driving communications efforts that deliver on the partner’s individual goals
  • Data interpretation: Analyze campaign and funnel data to generate actionable insights, translating them into strategies that improve engagement, audience segmentation, and program outcomes.
  • Channel Strategy: Leverage a deep understanding of marketing channels to create, test, and optimize engagement strategies tailored to each client’s learner audience.
  • Campaign briefing and operational direction: Craft clear campaign briefings and provide direction for Learner Engagement Operations teams that will ultimately drive the development of marketing deliverables
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Corporate Partner Success, Implementation, Product, Learner Support, Academic Partnerships) to align efforts with client KPIs and learner engagement goals with a focus on optimizing the learner journey and accelerating movement through the funnel. Brief operations teams on project needs and oversee execution to ensure success.
  • Client Relationship Management: Work closely with the Corporate Partner Success team to find opportunities for program expansions in line with our corporate partners’ strategic objectives and support pitch efforts
  • Leadership and Influence: Act as a trusted advisor and resident marketing expert through confident communication, strategic rigor and effective presentations that are concise, data-driven and impactful. Your thoughtful cross-functional collaboration and ability to adapt your approach based on client needs earns their confidence to lead meetings independently.
