Summary
The job is for a Leasing & Property Management Assistant at Uptalent.io, working with a US Real Estate management company. The role involves supporting the Head of Property Management in finding and vetting tenants, growing into a broader real estate project management role, and offering opportunities to work with external contractors, maintenance technicians, and marketing materials.
Requirements
- Prior experience working on the leasing of residential or commercial real estate, ideally 4+ years
- Proficiency in Google Suite, including Sheets
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, including being comfortable on the phone in English. Spanish proficiency is a plus
Responsibilities
- Respond to all inbound inquiries from prospective tenants in a very timely manner
- Answer questions for prospective tenants; inquire with our team for any answers you don’t know
- Assist prospective tenants in scheduling their tours (coordinating with our touring team as needed)
- Follow up with prospective tenants after their tours
- Send application instructions to prospective tenants interested in applying to live with us
- Kick off background checks for prospective tenants and conduct reference checks
- Notify tenants once they’re approved
- Track all notes, progress, and prospective tenants in AppFolio
- Ensure all our real estate listings are active and renew them as needed
- Assist with the creation of marketing content. Monitor content across our marketing channels
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience using AppFolio and Asana a plus
