Job description

With 465 billion automated optimizations per second, the AI-powered StackAdapt Marketing Platform seamlessly connects brand and performance marketing to drive measurable results across the entire customer journey. The most forward-thinking marketers choose StackAdapt to orchestrate high-impact campaigns across programmatic advertising and marketing channels.
StackAdapt is hiring a Manager of Client Services (MCS) to join our Revenue team in Western Canada. Reporting to the VP of Client Services, this is a key leadership role focused on building and scaling a high-performing team of Account Managers. You’ll drive account retention, uncover growth opportunities, and ensure we’re delivering best-in-class service to our clients. As the first MCS in the region, you’ll play a critical role in shaping team culture and helping fuel StackAdapt’s continued growth across Canada. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in RTB/programmatic media buying, who’s excited to act as a senior strategic partner and help drive results, and solve complex client challenges.
StackAdapt is a remote first company, however we are looking to hire someone located in Western Canada for this role, with a strong preference for someone in the Greater Vancouver Area or Calgary, Alberta.
What you’ll be doing:
- The MCS will lead a team of Account Managers (AMs) ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering a collaborative environment focused on account retention, revenue expansion, and proactive growth strategies
- Track, monitor, and evaluate quarterly revenue targets given to each AM on the team, where account retention and growth are the main objectives.
- Coach the AMs to make strategic plans to achieve objectives and capitalize on opportunities within their portfolios, while providing proactive help with the team’s largest and high-potential accounts. Reinforce a commercial mindset within the team, ensuring AMs are empowered to own the full client lifecycle, from onboarding through renewal and expansion.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and performance-planning efforts to build a high-performing, client-first team culture, ensuring each team member has an individualised growth plan.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency within the team, such as the development of tools, procedures or processes, or team education.
- Work with other department leads representing the Client Service team’s best interests, sharing feedback and providing ideas to bring solutions to any relevant issues
- Oversee major client initiatives and build strong relationships with key customers, acting as a senior point of contact and strategic consultant.
- Provide in-depth client consultation on StackAdapt DSP, including campaign setup, performance insights, optimization strategies, and new growth opportunities to meet KPIs.
- In-person and virtual meetings, presentations, Quarterly Business Reviews and training/education
- Travel as necessary
What you’ll bring to the table:
- 3+ years of experience managing a team, with a proven ability to lead from the front and inspire high-performing teams
- 5+ years of experience in account management, planning, and execution in the programmatic advertising space
- Deep knowledge of Real-Time Bidding (RTB) and programmatic advertising, including hands-on experience with DSPs and Ad Networks
- Experience using platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or other DSPs in a self-serve capacity
- A strong track record of managing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and delivering measurable results
- Ability to grasp and communicate technical concepts, with platform expertise and comfort navigating complex ad tech solutions
- Proven success in overcoming challenges, making data-driven decisions, and designing creative, scalable solutions
- Strong cross-functional collaborator who can influence and drive adoption of new processes and ideas
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to build trust and alignment across teams
- A genuine interest in digital advertising and an eye on emerging trends and innovations
- Huge bonus if you’ve used StackAdapt!
