Join Figma's team as a Senior Manager to lead multiple teams in providing personalized, streamlined, and intuitive solutions to users. As the customer base expands and new technological advancements emerge, this role will help raise the ceiling of what's possible for designers and lower the floor of who can design.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience hiring and leading teams as an engineering manager with at least 2 years of experience managing managers
- Previous experience in driving the development and optimization of AI capabilities within a product, preferably within a fast-paced and high-growth environment
- Excitement and curiosity for 0->1 product development, with a track record of crafting fast moving organizations that can turn innovative ideas into successful productionalized features
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of managers and engineers responsible for developing and improving Figma's AI capabilities in our core products
- Collaborate with product, engineering, AI research and data science teams to define strategic goals and establish a roadmap for AI product development
- Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing engineers. You'll contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and calculated risk-taking
- Drive innovation in 0->1 product areas, exploring and implementing new AI technologies and techniques to enhance user experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in generative AI, RAG, the fine-tuning process and its application to creative products
- Experience digging into product analytics and data yourself to help create new opportunities or investment areas for your team
