Job description

Hi, we’re TechnologyAdvice.

At TechnologyAdvice, we pride ourselves on helping B2B tech buyers manage the complexity and risk of the buying process. We are a trusted source of information for tech buyers, delivering advice and facilitating connections between our buyers and the world’s leading sellers of business technology.

Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, we are a remote-first company with more than 20 digital publications and over 500 global team members in the US, UK, Singapore, Australia, and the Philippines. We’re proud to have been repeatedly recognized as one of America’s fastest growing private companies by Inc., as well as a Tennessee top workplace. We work hard each day and have fun, too, with monthly virtual events, recreational slack channels, and the occasional costumed dance from our CEO.

All positions are open to remote work unless otherwise specified in the requirements below.

The opportunity

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and regionally-savvy Managing Editor to lead our content development efforts in the APAC region. This role involves both strategic planning and hands-on editing, with the goal of increasing audience growth and brand authority in key APAC markets such as Australia, Singapore, and India.  You’ll work closely with a network of freelancers and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure content is both editorially excellent and commercially relevant.

Location: Australia

What you’ll do

  • Editorial Strategy and Localization, Freelancer and Vendor Coordination, Editorial Review Publishing, Sales Enablement and Client Support, and Audience Development.
  • Develop and execute a regional content roadmap that aligns with APAC business goals and key market opportunities.
  • Adapt and localize global content for APAC audiences, ensuring cultural relevance, tone consistency, and linguistic accuracy across diverse markets.
  • Monitor regional tech trends, buyer behavior, and emerging market dynamics to shape editorial priorities and identify timely content themes.
  • Manage a distributed network of freelance writers, translators, and editors across APAC, assigning projects and maintaining quality control.
  • Review submitted content to ensure clarity, brand alignment, factual accuracy, and editorial polish across formats and languages.
  • Serve as the final editorial checkpoint for all APAC-facing content, reviewing for grammar, technical accuracy, structure, and readability.
  • Edit for AP style and regional language nuances (e.g., British/Australian English vs. US English), maintaining a consistent editorial voice.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to translate client briefs into editorial concepts and content strategies that meet campaign goals.
  • Provide editorial guidance for branded content tailored to APAC markets, ensuring brand voice and messaging align with regional expectations.
  • Leverage analytics tools to assess content performance and engagement by country, format, and channel.
  • Optimize regional distribution strategies using SEO, syndication partnerships, and localized publishing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn APAC, WeChat, Line).

Who you are

  • 5+ years of editorial or content marketing experience, ideally in a B2B tech or publishing environment, with a strong track record of producing high-quality, audience-relevant content.
  • Deep understanding of regional tech trends and buyer personas across APAC markets such as Australia, Singapore, India, and Southeast Asia- able to shape content that resonates with local audiences and business priorities.
  • Exceptional editorial skills, including a sharp eye for detail, grammar, flow, and voice consistency across formats (e.g., articles, white papers, branded content).
  • Hands-on experience with content localization and translation workflows, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural nuance, and brand alignment; comfortable working across multiple time zones and languages.
  • Proven ability to manage and brief freelancers, editors, and translators, ensuring high editorial standards and on-time delivery of region-specific content.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, audience analytics, and performance tools, as well as experience publishing on APAC-relevant platforms such as LinkedIn APAC, WeChat, and Line.
  • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward.

What we offer you

  • Career Growth: Advance with mentorship programs, leadership academies, and opportunities to shape company culture and DEI initiatives.
  • Flex Fridays: Adjust your 40-hour week to enjoy a full or half day off on Fridays.
  • Remote-First Culture: Work from the comfort of your home.
