Marketing Analyst

We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Analyst with a strong focus on business intelligence and marketing analytics to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building reports and dashboards, interpreting data and key performance metrics, and applying industry best practices to support key marketing initiatives.
As a Marketing Analyst, you will provide actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions. You will be responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and the development/automation of regular reports. You will work closely with the Enterprise Analytics and Operations organizations to prioritize databases and support data governance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret marketing data to support the organization’s marketing strategy.
- KPI Tracking: Monitor and measure full funnel key performance indicators (KPIs) such as marketing qualified leads, conversion rates, and new pipeline created.
- Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations through a BI tool (QuickSight) and/or Salesforce to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive activities, and consumer preferences.
- Collaboration: Work with other marketing team members, sales, and product teams to align on strategies and objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve marketing strategies.
- Project management: experience in gathering requirements, setting expectations, and delivering on key analytical initiatives.
Requirements & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics and/or data analysis. Experience working in legal, risk, and/or HR compliance space is preferred.
- Experience with tools like QuickSight, Snowflake, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and Excel.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and data analysis skills are crucial.
- Data Interpretation: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw conclusions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with marketing analytics tools, spreadsheets, and database querying (e.g., SQL).
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve problems related to marketing campaign performance.
- Building Collaborative Relationships: The ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with others inside or outside the organization who can provide information, assistance, and support.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to analyze the organization’s competitive position by considering market and industry trends, existing and potential customers (internal and external), and strengths and weaknesses compared to competitors.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications or related field
