About the Marketing Virtual Assistant position

We’re looking for an organized marketing assistant for this exciting role in the home improvement industry! Our ideal candidate will have a knack for organization, great

copywriting skills, attention to detail, and an empathetic personality that can relate to our everyday customers. They will understand how to use those skills to create a cohesive brand experience for customers and manage our online communities.

REQUIRED SERVICE: Marketing Support VA

REQUESTED EXPERIENCE TIER LEVEL: Junior or Senior Level

MIN. HOURS/WEEK: 40 hours

SHIFT TIME ZONE: TO BE ARRANGED

SHIFT HOURS: 8am to 5pm

SHIFT DAYS: Monday to Friday

REPORTING TO/POC: To Be Determined

Number of VAs: 1

REGION PREFERENCES: PHILIPPINES or BELIZE

Responsibilities are:

Individual Contributor:

  • Succeed by embodying our company values

  • Have a service-focused attitude and ability to develop relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders

Marketing Tasks:

  • Respond to customer questions/concerns/feedback on online channels within 24 hours or less, including: Yelp, Better Business Bureau, Google Reviews, Social Media, and more
  • Utilize review management software, Gather Up, to document, track, and reply to reviews
  • Support social media manager by posting and developing content for social media channels
  • Work closely with customer care to provide quick resolution to customer complaints from online channels per our review management process
  • Maintain an upbeat and healthy online community experience for the JBR brand
  • Complete weekly reporting templates to showcase review statuses and performance
  • Provide support on additional marketing initiatives and projects that align with and enhance the efforts of the content and digital teams

Qualifications are:

  • Experience working in social media platforms for brands.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent copywriting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent project and time management skill.
  • Experience working with multiple business stakeholders.
  • Inspiring, engaging, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great problem-solving skills with ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
