Job Description
What You’ll Do:
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Operations, you’ll be responsible for supporting a collaborative marketing team in bringing campaigns and creative ideas to life. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of marketing activities — from planning and launching email campaigns to updating website content and tracking campaign performance.
You’ll help manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines are met, budgets are tracked, and any issues are flagged early. You’ll also assist with reporting, testing campaign effectiveness, and coordinating gift card fulfillment for promotions and contests. If you’re organized, curious, and eager to grow your marketing skills, this role is a great place to start.
The core parts of your role will be to:
Manages assigned marketing projects and campaigns from start to finish, including scheduling, execution, budget tracking, and escalating issues as needed.
Collaborates with internal teams and external vendors (including creative agencies, printers, and developers) to ensure timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
Coordinates the development and publishing of monthly e-newsletters across multiple lines of business, including content planning, stakeholder review, and deployment.
Supports the marketing team in executing campaigns and contests, including brainstorming, drafting recommendations, and contributing to marketing plans.
Assists with campaign implementation by finalizing artwork, coordinating deployment tactics, and supporting performance tracking and reporting.
Maintains and updates marketing collateral inventory; coordinates print production and ordering of brochures, promotional items, and contest prizes.
Performs content updates to brand websites using internal content management systems and collaborates with web specialists for additional updates.
Works with Accounts Payable to code and submit invoices for approval and payment; maintains accurate records in the marketing budget tracker.
Performs other duties within competence, as assigned.
Qualifications

This is the unique blend of skills and experience we would love to see in an ideal candidate:
- Post-secondary diploma/degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- One to three years progressive work-experience in Marketing or related field.
(Internships/co-op placements welcome).
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and professionally across multiple teams and external partners.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and project coordination skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient problem-solving skills with proven ability to learn and adapt to new tools, platforms, and processes efficiently.
- Eye for detail, committed to accuracy in content, reporting, and campaign execution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 360 (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with marketing platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Web Publishing CMS, MailChimp, Kentico
- Experience working with printers, designers, and external vendors
- Understanding of the insurance industry is considered an asset.
- Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.
