Job Title: Marketing Events Coordinator (Temporary Contractor Position)
Location: Remote (USA)

Reports To: Head of Events & Partnerships
Position Overview:
Chartbeat is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Events Coordinator to join our Marketing team.. In this role you will be responsible for supporting various marketing events, both virtual and in-person, to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer success, to ensure that our events are seamless, impactful, and aligned with our company goals. Please note: this is a temporary contractor role, not a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Execution: Assist in the planning and execution of all Marketing events, including conferences, webinars and hospitality events.
Hospitality Logistics Management: Owning hospitality logistics such as venue selection, catering, and vendor management.
Content Support: Work with the content team to develop event collateral, presentations, and promotional materials.
Relationship Building: Manage relationships with external vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure event success.
Travel Budget Management: Monitor travel expenses and work with the team to ensure costs are managed efficiently.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other teams such as Sales and Customer Success to align event content and objectives with business goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in event planning, Marketing, or related roles, preferably within the tech or SaaS industry.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
A passion for creating memorable and engaging experiences for attendees.
Compensation:
Rate of pay: $40-$60/hourly
Weekly hours: 20-30
