Job Description
Duration: 3-6 monthsΒ with potential for extension
Location: Remote in the US
Hours/wk: 15β20Β hrs/weekΒ (depending on project phase)
Hourly Rate: $65-75/hr
Concept & Messaging Development
β Craft compelling copy for mobile-first ads (video, static, and carousel formats) that drive clear calls to action
β Develop and iterate on headline, body, and CTA copy that balances clarity, urgency, and brand tone
β Tailor messaging for Meta, LinkedIn, and other B2B paid media placements
Test & Learn Optimization
β Write multiple messaging variations per concept to test themes, structures, and emotional levers
β Partner with Growth and Brand teams to define and refine copy testing frameworks
Creative Collaboration
β Work closely with the Art Director and Homebase stakeholders to build aligned concepts
β Help refine briefs and clarify performance hypotheses to strengthen creative outputs
Content Remixing & Efficiency
β Adapt existing copy and messaging frameworks for new formats β Support ongoing optimization based on data learnings and evolving brand goals
Key Characteristics:
β Insight-driven and creative β understands how to match copy to funnel stage and user mindset
β Agile and open to feedback, thrives in testβiterateβoptimize cycles β Strong collaborator with design partners and marketing strategists
Qualifications
β 5+ years writing ad copy for performance channels, ideally within growth marketing or DTC/B2B tech
β Proven success with copy that converts in paid social environments (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
β Experience creating content for both brand and performance goals simultaneously
β Experience with rapid optimization and test-and-learn creative environments
