Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure the company’s operations comply with Lithuanian financial regulations, MiCA requirements, EMI regulations, and applicable EU directives.
Monitor legislative and regulatory changes in Lithuania and the EU affecting CASPs, EMIs, digital assets, and crypto-related services.
Draft, update, and implement internal compliance policies, procedures, and manuals in line with regulatory updates.
Compliance Monitoring & Controls
Perform compliance reviews and monitoring activities to assess adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
Support the design, implementation, and testing of compliance-related controls across the business.
Prepare and maintain compliance documentation, registers, and reports for internal stakeholders and regulators.
Regulatory Interaction
Act as a point of contact with the Bank of Lithuania and other relevant authorities for compliance-related matters
Assist with regulatory submissions, filings, and responses to official requests.
Business Support
Work closely with operational, legal, and risk teams to ensure that compliance requirements are embedded into products, services, and processes.
Support licensing, approvals, and other regulatory processes related to new services and products.
Training & Awareness
Conduct compliance training sessions for employees, focusing on Lithuanian regulatory requirements, MiCA obligations, and EMI rules.
Promote a strong compliance culture throughout the organisation.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role within Lithuania’s financial services sector.
Strong understanding of Lithuanian regulatory framework for VASPs/CASPs, EMIs, MiCA requirements, and crypto-related legislation.
Experience working with the Bank of Lithuania or other Lithuanian regulatory bodies.
Languages
Fluent Lithuanian (mandatory).
Fluent English (mandatory).
