Our OMRON Connect apps help people across the world monitor and manage their health using connected devices. As a Mobile Developer at Luscii, you will join a newly formed international team building native iOS and Android applications, used by millions each month. You will play a key role in improving the technical foundation of our apps as we transition to a modern architecture. Think: Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Multiplatform, SwiftUI, BLE integrations and more. What you’ll do
Develop and optimize native iOS and/or Android apps with a focus on performance and usability
Contribute to the architecture and design of our mobile codebase
Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts in early stages of development
Implement features that communicate with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices
Troubleshoot, debug and resolve production issues to ensure app stability
Review code and help set standards for implementation across the team
Collaborate closely with developers, QA, product, and support
Stay up to date with the latest mobile trends (e.g. SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, etc.)

Salary: €4.300 – €5.900 gross per month (based on 32 hours – that’s full-time at Luscii).

The ideal candidate…

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Android or Mobile developer
A bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Experience writing Unit and/or UI test for mobile apps
Experience with clean architecture principles in combination with software design patterns and more specifically MVVM or MVI
Knowledge in CI/CD pipelines and in Android Design Guidelines
Extensive experience with Kotlin (incl. coroutines/flow)
Knowledge of and experience with Jetpack Compose
Demonstrated experience with Web services, Cloud and API technologies
Expertise in app memory management, multithreading, networking and debugging & optimalization skillls
Familiarity with an Agile working environment
